Jada Pinkett Smith, who has worked with the 58-year-old actor in The Matrix film series, opened up about how Reeves is in real life.

The Girls Trip actress also explained her on-set dynamics with the Canadian actor. During an interview, Pinkett Smith shared all the great things she saw in her co-star Reeves.

Jada Pinkett Smith was part of Keanu Reeves’s famous film series The Matrix from its second installment, where she played the character of Niobe. Pinkett Smith and Reeves became good friends during the filming of the movie. The Scream 2 actress describes the 58-year-old actor as a very sensitive and generous person. After working with the Destination Wedding actor, the 51-year-old actress became aware of Reeves’s charming personality.

In an interview, Pinkett Smith was asked about Reeves and she had only good things to share about him. The Set It Off actress said,
“He has this mysterious quality, especially with us, with the press. He has a very guarded face. He’s very generous. He’s very sensitive. He’s very quiet. You know what I mean? But he’s also a really intuitive person.”
Pinkett Smith went ahead and explained how Reeves knows how to give people their space even during the filming of a movie. Will Smith’s wife stated that the Canadian actor appreciates when other actors also give him space. The Gotham actress said,
“You know, when he wants that kiss in the morning. You know, there were days I’d come on the set and I’d go, ‘I think today is the day Keanu might want a kiss.’ You know, and then I’d come on the set and that day would be a day when you’d wave, you know what I’m saying?”

Smith once stated that Reeves is the most hardworking person. The actress said, “I don’t think there’s any other person that I’ve seen work as hard as that man.” Pinkett Smith also invited Reeves to her show, Red Table Talk.

When Pinkett Smith made an appearance on Howard Stern’s show, she spoke about her chemistry with the Replicas actor. The 51-year-old actor explained why there was no on-screen chemistry between them. The Jason’s Lyric actress stated,
“I don’t think it was his fault. I think it was as much my fault as anybody’s. It wasn’t just Ke, it was me too. Keanu and I didn’t click. At that particular time we didn’t, but we actually became really good friends after I played Niobe.”
Every time Pinkett Smith has been asked any questions regarding Reeves, she has always something great to say about the actor. The Magic Mike XXL actress also mentioned how kind the 58-year-old actor is with everyone on the set during the filming of a movie.
