The Eagles Super Bowl champion’s 120-pound Irish Wolfhound, Winnie, helped walk the newlywed couple down the aisle.
Eagles center and Philly hype man extraordinaire Jason Kelce got married in Center City this weekend, and we’re extremely happy about it.
Kelce reportedly tied with knot with his girlfriend (and now wife) Kylie McDevitt at the Logan Hotel on Saturday.
Sarah Alderman of the Coatesville-based AGPcollective served as the official photographer for the wedding, which was planned by Sarah and Bree of the Philly-based All About Events.
Alderman, who also operates a studio in Fishtown, had no idea who Kelce was when she booked his wedding in November. Of course, that was well before the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory in February. Needless to say, Alderman (and all of Philadelphia) definitely knew who the football player was by the time he gave his epic Super Bowl parade speech. She said his words (perhaps unexpectedly) resonated with her personally.
“He went from a regular athlete whom I had never heard of to a Super Bowl champion who made such an impression on the city,” Alderman said. “I don’t follow football, but I’ve been raising my twins as a single mom since they were born, and I grew up with a single mom, and I feel very familiar to underdog thing. When I saw Kelce’s speech, I started crying hysterically. His whole mentality and his approach to life just really hit me hard. I thought, ‘This is my groom.’”
“I couldn’t pick a better couple,” Alderman added. “I work with couples all the time, and you can tell when people are a good match. These two are good for each other on every level.”
Kelce and Kylie’s relationship is a testament to the power of Tinder — they met each other on the dating app.
Alderman said about 170 guests attended the wedding, including Kelce and Kylie’s 120-pound Irish wolfhound, Winnie, which the couple is reportedly “obsessed with.”
Alderman said the couple didn’t originally want any posed photos (only candids), but she convinced them to let her a shoot a few portraits.
“[Kelce] definitely wasn’t going to put on a Mummers suit and go to City Hall,” Alderman said. “It was just about the emotions of the day, which I think is really cool.”
Philly photographer HughE Dillon reposted photos of the fete on Twitter and Instagram on Monday.

We’re wondering when and where Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will tie the knot — he got engaged to Madison Oberg in February.
