ONE of the biggest feuds in showbiz has ended but another is very much alive.

The day before Katy Perry made up with Taylor Swift after five years, she was dealt a fresh blow: I’m told her relationship with Rihanna is worse than ever.

And their situation came to a head at Monday evening’s Met Gala in New York.

The former best friends haven’t seen each other for more than 18 months after falling out.

But they were forced to pose for an excruciatingly awkward photo together on the red carpet of the event.

And in an embarrassingly for Katy, she was left off the invite list of RiRi’s star-studded afterparty at nightclub Up&Down.

A source close to Katy said: “Because Rihanna was chairing the Met Gala, she had to pose with a lot of the celebrity guests but it was really uncomfortable when she was asked to have the photo with Katy.

“They used to be close but Rihanna’s expression in the photo says it all.

“Katy was upset about the whole situation because Rihanna was cold to her and she wasn’t invited to her after-party.”

But thankfully for Katy her long-running feud with Taylor, which started when she used the superstar’s backing dancers in 2013, is finally over.

Taylor Swift revealed Katy Perry sent her a package as an olive branch
She offered her an olive branch, by sending one in the post, as Tay kicked off her Reputation world tour in Arizona on Tuesday night.

Taylor shared the moment she opened the package on Instagram, saying: “I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much.”

The video also gave a glimpse of a hand-written letter in which Katy said: “Hey Old Friend — I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hutt feelings between us.”

And Taylor’s dispute with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is also still definitely on.

After Taylor denied any prior knowledge of Kanye’s tune calling her a bitch, Kim called her a “snake” on social media, inspiring the backdrop for her stage.

Referring to the incident on stage, Taylor said: “I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I didn’t know if I was gonna get to do this any more.”

Writing an entire album about it must have helped her get over it.

YOU’VE got to hand it to Taylor Swift – she never fails to kick off her shows with a bang . . .  as she proved in blistering style on the opening night of her Reputation world tour on Tuesday.

The singer rocked a series of glitzy sequinned dresses as she powered through no fewer than eight costume changes during the two-hour extravaganza in Glendale, Arizona – including this dazzling tasseled candy stripe creation.

Although she claimed on latest album Reputation that the “old Taylor” is dead, she did manage to perform ten throwback tracks from past albums, including Blank Space from 1989 and Love Story from Fearless.

And she was joined on stage by pals Charli XCX and Camila Cabello for a rendition of her 2014 hit Shake It Off.

If her first gig is any indication, the rest of the tour will be great.

While Cardi looked like she had been in a scuffle with a florist, earlier that evening her security detail was involved in a real tiff with swarming paps.

It came after more drama at the A-list fashion event on Monday when the US star, who is engaged to hip-hop artist Offset, unwittingly let slip the gender of her unborn tot.

Feeling the baby kick, she blurted out: “Oh, she wants to fight me! My dress weighs about 35 pounds plus baby.”
Cardi is thought to be seven months pregnant, meaning that it won’t be long until she reveals the baby’s name. I’m guessing Rose, Daisy or    Petunia.

James’ jolly up
JAMES McAvoy went back to nature for his 39th birthday bash.

The X Men actor and his girlfriend Lisa Liberati, a PA, rented the 100-acre yurt campsite at Soho Farmhouse, in Oxfordshire’s idyllic countryside and were joined by family and friends for rounders, football and power ballads around the camp fire.

A source revealed: “James was keen to use the Bank Holiday weekend to see a lot of his mates from all over the UK and spend some quality time with them.

“He was happy to splash out on the luxury glamping for everyone. There was plenty of sport, boozing and banter.”

It’s good to see Tinsle- town hasn’t changed him.
