NORTH West has become a fashion director’s worst nightmare as she ripped his decisions during her mom Kim Kardashian’s dress fitting.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, North didn’t hold back her true feelings when critiquing her mother’s 2023 Met Gala ensemble.

North, 10, was shown watching her Hulu star mother get ready for her 10th Met Gala appearance from their New York City hotel room.

She shared her thoughts on the look after Kim slipped on the Schiaparelli gown that was made almost entirely from strands of pearls.

The pre-teen told Kim, 43, that the dress had “way too much [sic] gaps in the pearls” and that “it looks like she’s a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped.”

North also added that she thought “the pearls look fake.”

Both Kim and Daniel Roseberry, the creative director for the Italian fashion house Maison Schiaparelli, appeared visibly bothered by North’s brutally honest opinion.

The Skims founder quickly corrected: “No no, I think you’re wrong here. These are very expensive and real pearls,” before adding, “I think you need a lesson on pearls.

“We’re not going for like flapper girl. We’re going for like vintage, authentic pearly-girly.”

North held her ground as she responded: “It’s looking like beachy,” causing Daniel to release an exasperated chuckle.

Deflated he told the cameras: “This is my worst nightmare come to life. It’s like I’m being Punk’d. The night before the Met, getting read for filth.”

Kim then told North she brought her into the conversation because she was originally so complimentary.

North, seemingly wanting to make up for her previous comment, responded to Kim: “I like the pearls,” before adding, “I just don’t like that it looks like from the Dollar Store.”

Kim then asked North: “I respect your opinion but please be easy on me today.”

North fired back: “I’m not going to lie. I won’t say it at all if you don’t want me to but I’m not going to lie.”

Later in the episode, Kim told North: “There’s a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings.

There’s a way to say, ‘You know, I might not love that.’”

North, mimicking her mom’s tone, replied: “You know, I might not love your necklace or your outfit but I’m just trying to support you, you know?”

She then asked: “Is that good?”

Kim rolled her eyes and she replied: “Yeah, that was a good start.”

FAN BACKLASH

In watching the episode, fans were appalled by North’s behavior, and several took to Reddit where they attributed the child’s bluntness to “poor parenting.”

“North isn’t the problem. It’s Kim,” one wrote, opening up the conversation.

“Agreed. Kim seems like a neglectful parent acting like she’s gotta do all the s**t she’s doing bc she’s a ‘single mom.’ B***h, you’re a billionaire. You can afford to take at least a year off, spend it with your kids, and actually raise them,” a second complained.

“Kim just doesn’t have any depth at all to her character and she cannot be a good parent because she’s superficial and only cares about self-promotion. She had kids because she wanted more money and fame,” a third remarked.

“I think it boils down to the fact North has zero respect for her mom. And that’s 100% Kim’s fault,” a fourth ripped.

“100% Kim and Kanye don’t parent their kids. They are helping raise them but they aren’t parenting, or fully raising them. And then to see that your lack of parenting creates privileged snobby kids and you still allow it. Also, I would never s**t talk my family to my daughter… that’s so wild,” a fifth seethed.

“It’s pretty much always a parent thing,” a final put shortly.

FASHION CRITIC

In the same episode, North watched old videos from the Met Gala and shared her savage opinions with her mom.

The mother and daughter sat on a lavish couch in a hotel room and watched the TV with a bowl of popcorn.

Several clips of celebs walking the red carpet were shown, including dresses covered in pearls.

North passionately said: “She’s pretty, it’s just stop copying my mom with those pearls.”

She then pouted and threw up a peace sign as she carried on and stated: “You know what I mean.”

The scene cut to a confessional with Kim in a tight gray top and short hair.

Kim said: “All North wants to do is rate people’s outfits and she loves to critique, she loves it. North is like the new Joan Rivers, if you ask me.”

North carried on critiquing an unshown celebrity in the scene: “What the heck is he wearing? You want to stand out and everything, but blue?”

Kim remarked back in the confessional: “You can’t really take it seriously, being roasted by a 10-year-old, so I never do but it stings a little.”
