NBA – Close to return, Draymond breaks the silence: “I wanted…

Suspended indefinitely after his successive slips on Rudy Gobert and Jusuf Nurkic, Draymond Green is preparing to make his return to competition. But before that, he decided to break the silence about this difficult period, notably by making a big revelation.
In just 15 games played and despite not necessarily exceptional statistics (9.7 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds), Draymond Green has established himself as one of the most important characters of the NBA season. Unfortunately for him and the Warriors, he mainly stood out in a very negative way.
It all started with his rear choke on Rudy Gobert, while the latter was trying to end an altercation, and he followed up with a big punch to the face of Jusuf Nurkic. Because it was the image of the entire league that was impacted by his actions, the Warriors interior was suspended indefinitely and ultimately lost nearly $2 million in salary due to missed games.
Draymond Green close to retirement!
While his return is imminent and he is currently in a re-athleticization phase, the multiple All-Star decided to break the silence and talk about his experience. In a new episode of his podcast, he explained what his mind was like after his suspension. Obviously, he was thinking about retiring!
I had a talk with Adam Silver, and I told him it was too much for me. That this whole situation was too much for me. I explained to him that I wanted to retire. He said, “You’re making a brutal decision, and I can’t let you do that.” It was a long conversation and it helped me. He really takes care of his players, I’m proud to be in his NBA.
Caught in a huge media whirlwind after his various slip-ups, Draymond Green would have completely thought about ending his career. He was an All-Star, a 4-time champion with his lifelong franchise, he is an essential element of a great dynasty, he clearly has nothing more to prove. If he no longer feels the pleasure of playing, what’s the point of continuing? Finally, it will take more to turn opinion around.

Impossible, Draymond plays the victim card…
With a commissioner other than Adam Silver, Draymond Green might have decided to retire. Fortunately for him and Warriors fans, the big boss of the league was convincing enough to change his mind.
