Selena Gomez is entering her classic-rock era.

The former Disney Channel darling turned pop diva is set to play Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Linda Ronstadt— best known for her 1975 No. 1 hit “You’re No Good” — in an upcoming biopic.

And the 77-year-old icon — who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013— has signed off on the casting herself.

“The long-rumored Linda Ronstadt biopic is now up-and-running. Selena Gomez is attached to play Linda,” according to an announcement on the website of Great Eastern Music, a publisher founded by Ronstadt’s manager, John Boylan.

“The two recently spent a few hours at Linda’s home discussing the project and getting to know each other,” he added.

The film will be produced by James Keach, who also produced the 2019 Ronstadt documentary “The Sound of My Voice” and the acclaimed 2005 Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line.”

No doubt — there is a clear resemblance between the two singers, who are both of Mexican descent.

“I always used to get told that I look like her,” Gomez, 31, said during a 2015 appearance on “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.” “And I started listening to her music because of that.”

After announcing her retirement in 2011, Ronstadt — an 11-time Grammy winner whose versatility extended from rock and country to jazz and Latin music — was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and was feted by Kennedy Center Honors in 2019 for her legendary career.

Meanwhile, Gomez found herself at the center of a lip-reading mystery with BFF Taylor Swift at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

Following speculation that Gomez was dishing about Kylie Jenner refusing to allow her to take a photo with Jenner’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, the “Only Murderers in the Building” actress subsequently announced that she would be taking a break from social media on Tuesday.

“Focusing on what really matters,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I’m off social media for a while.”
