Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making a huge mistake in their efforts to win over America, a royal expert has claimed. They are boring the American public with their endless complaints.
Since leaving the British Royal Family and moving to the US in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have been actively attending public events, appearing on red carpets and making their small screen debut through documentaries.
The Sussexes’ goal was to enter the celebrity world and make a splash in the United States. However, things did not go according to plan. From support and sympathy, the American public gradually turned their backs on Harry and Meghan.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Angela Levin, author of the biography Harry: Conversations with the Prince, said that “hypocrisy” and attacks on the royal family were the reasons why the Sussexes were criticized not only in the UK.
“I think the constant whining irritates Americans because they prefer people who can think and do things rather than blame others.
They also particularly dislike attacks on the royal family because they love and admire Queen Elizabeth II,” the writer said.
Americans’ dislike of Harry and Meghan was evident when the couple was mocked in the popular cartoon South Park in mid-February 2023. Although the characters in the episode The Worldwide Privacy Tour were confirmed to be fictional, the identical looks of Harry and Meghan made it clear who the producers were referring to. The main plot revolves around the exiled royal couple moving to a fictional town to gain privacy, but their methods are always noisy and attention-grabbing.
Ms Levin described the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their “revenge trip” as a joke, saying their actions had cut off any chance of mending their relationship with the royal family.
“Americans don’t like their South Park hypocrisy. They say they want privacy but still show up at Z-rated awards just to get their picture taken.
“In revenge, they threw their changes down the drain. There was no turning back,” she stressed.

Previously, in the second half of February, a Newsweek poll showed the level of sympathy of Americans for members of the British Royal Family, with about 1,500 adults participating in the survey.
Accordingly, Meghan received 31% likes and 30% dislikes, a significant decrease compared to December 2023 (45% support and 23% opposition).
Harry received a more positive rating of 42% positive and 16% negative, which is not far behind the two most popular royals, Prince William (43% positive, 10% negative) and Duchess Kate (45% positive, 10% negative), but is on a downward trend compared to a few months ago.
