Connor McCaffery is a basketball coach at Butler University. He joined the coaching staff in September 2024.

Before this, he worked as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. He also served as a guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes for six seasons between 2017 and 2023. He has also played baseball, playing 22 games as a freshman between 2018-19.

Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery’s relationship history

Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery began dating in April 2023. This was confirmed when McCaffery celebrated their one-year relationship anniversary on Instagram in April 2024.

Since their relationship began, McCaffery has been incredibly supportive of Clark. On February 15, 2024, he took to Instagram stories to express his pride at Clark’s becoming the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Women’s basketball during the match in which Iowa scored a 106-89 victory over Michigan.
