Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs just experienced another big parenting milestone, thanks to some superstar gymnasts!
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the married couple and former Bachelor in Paradise stars shared a joint Instagram post documenting their 11-month-old son Benson’s first steps — which he surprisingly took in front of Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and other Olympians during Biles’ Gold Over America Tour rehearsal.
“Benny took his first steps,” the couple captioned a video of the sentimental moment.
“All it took was motivation watching @simonebiles 🐐, training/encouragement with @jordanchiles and the @goldoveramericatour floor mats! Unbelievable 🙏🏽💜,” they added.

At the start of the clip, both Biles, 27, and Chiles, 23, posed for a photo with Benson on a gym mat, before the video cut to footage of the baby staring curiously at Biles while she was mid-routine. Then, after a shot of Jacobs holding his son on a balance beam, the real magic happened.
Chiles can be seen in the video holding Benson by his hands, before slowly walking him toward his proud parents as he stood on both feet. Chiles then let Benson go and he took two steps entirely on his own. The footage was soundtracked by Andra Day’s song “Rise Up.”
“You got this!” Jacobs said in the clip, as both parents screamed with joy when Benson fell into his dad’s arms.
As they celebrated the special moment, Jacobs lifted Benson in the air and Kufrin, 34, excitedly danced around the mat.
In the post’s comment section, fans and friends congratulated Jacobs and Kufrin on their latest parenthood achievement with their “baby Olympian.”
“This is absolutely amazing!! Good job, kiddo!! And what a STORY!! Yay mom and dad,” Instagram user Kelley Johnson commented, while user Lauren Sanders wrote that Benson’s big moment was “a wonderful way to achieve your first steps.”
“He’ll be able to boast about this story when he gets older and for the rest of his life! ♥️✨,” Sanders wrote.

Kufrin and Jacobs, who married in October 2023 after meeting on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021, welcomed their son a month prior to the wedding. Their latest family outing — and milestone with Benson — comes just days before Biles’ Gold Over America Tour kicks off on Monday, Sept. 16, in Oceanside, Calif.
Describing the 30-date tour as a “pop concert-style spectacle,” Biles told PEOPLE earlier this month that she’s been able to prepare “mentally and physically” after having some time off following her four medal wins at the Paris Olympics.
“I’m most excited for the fans to see the best of both worlds,” she said. “Men’s and women’s gymnastics in one arena, at the same exact time, sharing the same floor.”
In addition to Chiles and Biles, the event is set to feature athletes Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Fred Richard, Paul Juda and Brody Malone, with Biles aiming for her goal of “inspiring future generations” while on the tour, which she described as “a time to give back.”
